We are looking for a motivated and talented intern to join our team and assist in the development of a Proof of Concept (PoC) for a Static Application Security Testing (SAST) dashboard. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with security tools and dashboard development while contributing to real-world projects.
This internship will be remote during summer 2025.
Your Impact:
Collaborate with the product security team to design, develop, and maintain a SAST dashboard for monitoring and visualizing security metrics.
Assist in the deployment and configuration of security tools such as Fortify SSC, SonarQube, and Snyk, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
Work on setting up data ingestion pipelines for security scan data from various SAST tools into the dashboard.
Participate in the creation of custom queries and visualizations to provide actionable insights for various stakeholders.
Help troubleshoot and resolve issues related to dashboard performance and data accuracy.
Document processes, configurations, and best practices for future reference.
Experience and Qualifications
Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Familiarity or interest in learning cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and container orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes).
Basic understanding and usage of cybersecurity concepts like SAST and DAST.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, additionally having hands-on programming skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Terraform, Python, Bash) for automation tasks.
Knowledge of security testing methodologies and tools.
Prior experience with setting up and managing dashboards in a professional or academic setting.
