Job Summary:
Responsible for laying out parts and building prototype as laid out in prints and sketches using available shop tools and equipment.
Essential Duties:
Work on all Hustler Products & New Design by laying out parts on sheet metal, plate tubing including fabricating parts, assemble parts by welding. This will include electrical wiring as needed. (Approx. 50%)
Operate a lathe, mill, band-saw, cold cut saw, drill press and an Accu-press Brake. (Approx. 30%)
Utilize welding and Blue Print reading to build parts. (Approx. 20%)
NOTE: These duties are subject to change as business needs and strategies evolve. Employee may be required to perform other duties of comparable complexity.
Education:
- High School /GED required
Experience:
Minimum of one to three years of work experience
Experience with Welding, Blue Print reading, Operating a Brake Press, Lathe & Mill.
Mechanical experience with hydraulics, small engines, & 12 volt electrical.
Basic Computer skills desirable.
Ability to operate a Fork Lift.
Required Skills:
Ability to Weld and Read Blue Prints, Operate a Lathe, Mill, Brake Press.
Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
Must be able to work independently and well as in a group.
Valid Drivers’s and Fork Lift License.
