Job Summary: Ensure accurate keying and balancing of branch capture transactions, incoming customer transactions from the Federal Reserve and other Financial Institutions, lockbox customer payments and data. Assists external and internal customers with payment and transaction processing questions & discrepancies. Ensures incoming and outgoing transaction and data files for bank customers, Correspondent Banks, Federal Reserve and other check clearing partners are processed accurately and according to established deadlines to meet customer service levels and regulatory guidelines. Must have the ability to trouble shoot data transmission errors with all payment & data delivery systems, i.e., FTP, WEB and, check clearing delivery software applications, etc. Responsible for processing the end of day files ensuring the accuracy of the bank’s entire transaction posting files. Ability to work across all job functions within the department. Promotes and fosters teamwork across all areas of INTRUST and is focused on delivering a high level of customer service to all. Must maintain strict standards of confidentiality, and perform duties in a manner supporting INTRUST’s Character Qualities.


Essential Functions:


+ Key & balance branch capture transactions, incoming customer transactions from the Federal Reserve and other Financial Institutions and lockbox payments & data.


+ Requires advanced knowledge of check clearing process and understanding of Check21 environment.


+ Ensure established deadlines for bank, customer transactions and data are met according to customer service levels and regulatory guidelines.


+ Maintain established operator volume throughput stats.


+ Sort, scan, reassemble & validate lockbox payments.


+ Transmit and ensure the delivery of transaction and data files are accurate and timely.


+ Preform first line support for troubleshooting data system issues and recovery with 3rd party software vendors, and Payment Processing software applications.


+ Assist co-workers when needed.


Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent and 3+ related experience.


Required Skills and Knowledge: Accurately produce high volume of work in a fast paced environment. Must have 10-key accuracy, problem solve all banking transactions effectively and efficiently, multi task while providing quality service to internal/external customers. Grasps new concepts and processes quickly and effectively. Advanced knowledge of Check 21 environment as well as Microsoft applications, i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, etc.


Required Licenses and/or Certifications: None.


Physical Demands: Must able to view personal computer for extended periods of time. Occasional lifting up to 40lbs. Must be able to hear and speak clearly over the phone. Must be able to use hands to key information and handle objects. Must be able to work 10 hour days during high volume payments and transactions.
