Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician
Job Description
Our Client is America's leading manufacturer of custom molded plastic containers, specializing in PET reheat and stretch blow molded containers as well as HDPE extrusion blow molded containers. We are seeking a dedicated Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team and help us maintain our high standards in production and quality control.
Responsibilities
Develop a solid foundation of mechanical and operational expertise with production equipment.
Monitor production processes on blow molding machines to maintain product specifications.
Troubleshoot auxiliary equipment to keep production lines running efficiently.
Perform mold changes and initiate production runs.
Conduct preventive maintenance as per periodic maintenance schedules.
Develop processing proficiency in HDPE extrusion blow molding and PET reheat and stretch blow molding.
Complete maintenance projects in accordance with sanitation policies and procedures.
Develop a working knowledge of Quality Control with a full understanding of measurable testing for meeting product specifications.
Essential Skills
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Ability to read and comprehend technical drawings and manuals.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Effective communication skills for one-on-one and small group situations.
Mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
Ability to interpret data and make decisions accordingly.
Mechanical knowledge.
Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) preferred.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Manufacturing experience desirable, but not mandatory.
Additional education, certifications, or licenses related to the production environment are preferable.
Experience with HVAC systems.
Experience in industrial maintenance, hydraulics, pneumatics, ladder logic, and electrical troubleshooting.
Experience with plastics and machine troubleshooting.
Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing experience.

Work Environment
The role operates in a production environment for food-grade containers requiring a high degree of sanitation. Noise levels are moderate, and hearing protection is provided. The production area is climate-controlled. The position involves standing, using hands to handle objects, and lifting up to 75 pounds. Shifts are from 4:00 pm to 2:00 am, Monday to Thursday.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $74880.00
