Job Title Lubrication Specialist

SUMMARY
Perform preventive maintenance work as assigned. Inspect and document unusual
equipment performance.
Essential Responsibilities
Maintenance
Perform pre-job inspections of equipment and record any damage, irregular
appearance, or unusual equipment performance.
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as directed including inspecting and
replacing equipment oils, hydraulic fluids, belts, and filters. Apply grease to pumps,
motors, conveyors, and bearings.
Complete documentation and write work requests for other items found that need to be
corrected.

Perform other tasks as assigned or required to support Sunflowers mission and
operations.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
High school diploma and two years industrial preventive mechanical maintenance
experience.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Knowledge of industrial equipment and preventive maintenance.
Able to comprehend safety data sheets (SDS).
Able to maintain records of job assignments.
Able to perform basic mathematical computations.
Knowledge of industrial chemicals, oils, greases, and the proper use and application of
these materials.
Attention to detail.
Written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills at the level required to
successfully perform the essential responsibilities of the position.
Able to operate computers and associated programs at the level required to
successfully perform the essential responsibilities of the position.
Other
Possess and maintain a valid drivers license.
Able to travel to all Sunflower sites and attend training and meetings out of state as
needed.
Regular and prompt attendance is required.
Able to work overtime, both scheduled and/or unscheduled. Able to respond and report
to work during off hours in emergency situations.
