Livingston Enterprises Inc. is seeking a Breeding Training Specialist for its Washington Co., KS, Jefferson Co., NE, and Gage Co., NE locations. Will be responsible for designing and coordinating training programs to maintain and improve job skills related to the effective and efficient operation of swine production including overseeing management of breeding targets, semen ordering, semen storage, vaccination schedules, barn cleanliness, ventilation adjustments, and feed management; Evaluating training methods, report improvements, and regularly communicating with the Site Manager, Farrowing Manager, Production Manager, and all levels of Management; and staying abreast of developments in swine production and animal welfare to ensure the day-to-day care of all animals in the department. Must have a Bachelors Degree in Animal Science or other related field. Applicants must have two years of experience in the following areas: modern, intensive pork production, training and coaching staff in farm practices, swine production methods, leadership techniques, and resource administration or allocation. Pre-employment drug screen and background checks required. Approximately 50% travel required between multiple employer worksites.
