We need seasonal employees to assistant with feeding and taking care of livestock during the confined period of November through May. Employee will need to work cattle, vaccinate cattle, feed cattle, calf out cows, check on calves, assist with birthing and deliveries, clean pens, replenish straw bedding, etc. Running water and hauling water while cows are on corn stocks. Feeding hay and putting out straw for bedding. Helping calf out cows and check on the health of calves. Assist with working cattle including vaccinating and doing health checks. Building electric fence and picking up electric fence. Employees will also assist with preparing fat cows for sale in May. Employees will assist with all duties related to the care of the livestock during this period. Employer will pay performance-based incentive bonuses at the end of the contract at employers\' discretion.
Family housing not available. Housing will be clean & meet applicable Fed, State and local Housing Standards. Workers must maintain neat & clean housing. Reasonable repair cost of damage, other than normal wear and tear will be deducted from the earnings. Housing/utilities are provided at no cost to workers who are unable to return to their place of residence the same day. If both male & female workers are hired: separate toilet, bathing and sleeping rooms will be provided.
Transportation will be provided at no cost to workers, from employer-provided housing and, if applicable,centralized pick-up points to the places of employment at the beginning of each workday and back at the end of each work day. Daily transportation at no cost to workers is available to workers who do not reside in employer-provided housing from centralized pick-up points.
