Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing basic activities for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery & equipment. This includes following specifications, blueprints, manuals, and schematic drawings utilizing hand tools, power tools, and measuring and testing instruments. This entry-level position provides an opportunity to work under the guidance of supervisors and higher-level technicians. Your responsibilities will encompass performing preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment according to checklists, maintaining equipment serviceability, installing new equipment, troubleshooting and repairing, and maintaining records using SAP Plant Maintenance. You will also participate in meetings, adhere to safety rules, and perform other duties as assigned.

Hard Skills

  • Knowledge of computer programs to pull and complete PM’s and work orders

  • Ability to read and comprehend manuals, blueprints, drawings and schematics

  • Troubleshooting skills using test instruments

  • 480V 3 Phase Understanding

  • Mechanical and Electrical Knowledge

Soft Skills

  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Ability to prioritize work schedule

  • Ability to perform with superior service

  • Ability to adhere to the highest standards of quality while continually performing at the highest possible level

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Mcpherson, Kansas.
