A&P Mechanic Location: Independence, KS Job ID: #69604 Pay Range: $37-42 SHORT ASSIGNMENT Job Description: Repair, maintain, overhaul and troubleshoot airframes, engines parts & components. Performs, 100 hour and progressive inspections as well as modification work. Job Responsibilities: • Conducts airframe, engines, component and system checks. • Performs install of SB’s, kits on airframe and engines. • Use equipment such as tensiometers, micrometers, pressure gauges, dial gauges, vacuum gauges, timing lights and a variety of hand tools to repair or modify systems or assemblies. • 5th Shift • Anticipate 10-20 hours of OT each week • Tools not required - will be provided • Prioritizing Single-Engine High-Wing (SEHW) experience. Required: • FAA A&P License • 3+ years' A&P experience • Ability to get up to speed quickly • Ability to troubleshoot, fix/disposition squawks in PFI on SEHW model aircraft Preferred: • Single-Engine High-Wing (SEHW) aircraft experience STRONGLY preferred • Experience with Cessna single engine 172, 182 and 206 Benefits provided: 401K, medical, dental, and vision, sick time as applicable to state law Butler America Aerospace, LLC. is proud to provide an equal opportunity workplace and be an affirmative action employer.
