Childrens Quest After-School Psychosocial Aide Position consists of providing supervision, structure and safety to child patients enrolled in the Quest-Foundations After-School Program. Applicants must demonstrate an ability to engage with children ages 5-21 in various recreational and outdoor settings with a consistent high level of energy while teaching pro-social skills.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 18 years of age, prior work with targeted population preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Communicate positively and effectively with others while maintaining unconditional positive regard for all.
- Work independently as well as be a productive part of a team
- Prior work with targeted population preferred
- Possess and demonstrate self-management skill and an ability to react calmly and effectively in a crisis
- Dependable vehicle, valid drivers license, and compliance with agencys liability carriers requirements may be required depending on job assignment
- Effective utilization of basic office technology
