ANNOUNCEMENT OF VACANCY
POSITION: FINANCIAL AID SPECIALIST
12 Month Contract Full-time Position
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Financial Aid Specialist will assist with multiple areas of financial aid office
functions. Such as but not limited to; reviewing FAFSAs, federal aid, scholarships,
audit preparations, and answering student phone calls, emails and in-person inquires.
Position Description
QUALIFICATIONS: Associates degree preferred. Previous experience with confidentiality and
organization skills desired. Must be a good communicator with strong interpersonal
skills; detail oriented, team driven, willingness to learn, punctual and have the ability
to multi-task. Good computer skills and experience working with Excel and
Word. Willing to train the right person. Employment is subject to successful
completion of a background check.
SALARY: \$17.00 per hour. Excellent benefit package available including paid single medical
and dental insurance, KPERS, 403b employer match, generous leave time, and tuition
benefits for employee and immediate family members.
STARTING DATE: Negotiable
