Pay: 12-14 Hourly

The Custodial Supply/ Delivery •The Custodial Supply, and Delivery receives cleaning supplies shipments, conducts inventory, delivery’s supplies to schools in the USD 475 district. Will also, pick up laundry from each location, wash and dry laundry and delivery back to location.

Maximum physical exertion is required on a daily basis in this job. Requires the ability to lift and carry supplies, and equipment without assistance weighing up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis; must be able to lift and move objects weighing up to 100 pounds with the help of others or with mechanical assistance

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• Must meet all requirements to receive approval for working in specific ATS environments (if applicable), including ten-year work history if available

• No experience required and on the job training provided

• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Customer service experience

• 1 year of similar work experience

Responsibilities:

•The Custodial Supply, and Delivery receives cleaning supplies shipments, conducts inventory, delivery’s supplies to schools in the USD 475 district. Will also, pick up laundry from each location, wash and dry laundry and delivery back to location. Must have a valid state issued driver’s license and be able to pass a motor vehicle check as well. Must be able to work independently, be self-starter and motivator. Must be able to keep records on file in an organized manner. The Custodial Supply, and Delivery will conduct weekly inventory and turn in the inventory to Account Manager. Must be able to pass a background check to include a Fort Riley background check is required. Must always maintain a positive customer service attitude.

Requires the ability to lift and carry supplies, and equipment without assistance weighing up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis; must be able to lift and move objects weighing up to 100 pounds with the help of others or with mechanical assistance. Prolonged walking or standing and frequent bending, stooping, and reaching is required on a daily basis. Requires a full range of physical motion in order to operate manual and electrically-powered equipment and machines to include dollies, pallet jacks, hand trucks, platform trucks, floor scrubbers, high and low speed buffers, carpet extractors, vacuums, and fork lifts. Must be able to move throughout assigned areas, as work is performed indoors and out-of-doors.

A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.
