DUTIES: Work in a collaborative practice on an anesthesia team in a fast-paced and diverse clinical practice.

Opportunities for scholarly effort and clinical research are available and participation in the academic missions of the department is encouraged. The department offers competitive compensation and excellent benefits.

Job Duties Outlined:

Direct patient care.

Teaching of medical students, student registered nurse anesthetists (SRNAs), and residents.

Supervision of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs).

Supervision of Nurse Practitioners (NPs).

Other duties as assigned by the Division Director or Department Chair.

Comprehensive Benefits Package:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: MD, DO or foreign degree equivalent. Completion of a residency or fellowship in Anesthesiology or Neuroanesthesiology. Hold or be eligible for a Kansas medical license.

If selected as a final candidate for this position, you may be required to complete the Association of American of Universities Representations and Warranties document and sign a release of records that will allow the University of Kansas Medical Center to conduct a further background check with former employers.
