Job Description:
Role Summary/Purpose:
We are seeking a skilled SecDevOps Senior Cloud Developer (L11) with varied security skills in security automation. The ideal candidate should have experience in developing and maintaining automated processes that help to minimize cyber risk by improving the organization's ability to identify and respond to cloud-centric cyber threats.
In this role, you will partner with cyber operations, information security, architecture, and cloud control teams to design, develop, test, and deploy strong automation use cases to improve the defense of workloads in the public cloud.
Ideal candidate will have:
HTTP client programming skill sets
Knowledge of cyber operations (blue team) concepts, strategies, and security tools, particularly those of AWS, Azure, and GPC
Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Essential Responsibilities:
Create strong partnerships with SMEs and stakeholders.
Align with technology leaders in adherence to strategy and departmental roadmap.
Skillfully gather and analyze requirements from requesting parties and stakeholders.
Design, develop, and release new use cases to maximize the benefits and efficiencies from the SOAR platform (XSOAR), the Cloud Security platform (WIZ), and proximate technologies such as cloud SIEM solutions and cloud infrastructure orchestration/automation tools.
Develop automations using no-code, low-code, and traditional code approaches, in that order.
Engineer for software quality through sound manual and automated testing, peer review, and customer acceptance.
Improve performance and efficiency of existing automation solutions.
Participate in diagnosing and resolving production support issues as directed.
Exert a positive, mentoring influence on junior colleagues to aid in their technical and social growth and success.
Desired Characteristics:
Demonstrated excellence in developing automation solutions for the triage and response of cloud security events (AWS, Azure, GPC).
Extensive experience in HTTP client programming, preferably in Python.
SOAR platform engineering and development experience preferred.
Cloud Security platform engineering and development experience preferred.
Intimate familiarity with the values and principles of the Agile Manifesto.
Capable of proficiently communicating complex information, concepts, or ideas in a confident and well-organized manner through verbal, written, and/or visual means.
Professional certifications (e.g., SANS, AWS Security), software engineering certifications, and tool-specific certifications are a plus.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and strong problem solving with a common-sense approach to resolving problems.
Expertise to clearly define complex issues despite incomplete or ambiguous information.
Strong oral and written communications skills.
Strong research, experimentation, and troubleshooting skills.
Prior SOC, cyber intelligence, or incident response experience is a plus.
Grade/Level: 11
The salary range for this position is 110,000.00 - 185,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.
Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

Eligibility Requirements:
You must be 18 years or older
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months' time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don't meet the time in position or performance expectations).
