General Purpose:
Develop and execute effective marketing campaigns aligned with the Ingredient Solutions short- and medium-term demand generation strategies in the assigned end use category (EUC). Serve as the subject matter expert for all things related to the beverage and nutrition category, including consumer trends, market analysis, and product knowledge, pipeline execution, and innovation pipeline support. Connect closely with cross-functional team members to design and execute marketing initiatives, meeting established objectives and metrics. Understand and apply key business priorities and processes to integrate across the business. Establish, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) tied to area of responsibility and link these KPIs to divisional goals.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Specific to strategy:
Support planning, strategy, and execution of assigned area of responsibility (category applications, category communications, etc.)
Assist in the development of EUC strategies that enable achievement of sales goals and financial targets
Partner with cross-functional teams to capture and analyze category/customer insights that drive capability strategies and implement strategies in the marketplace
Partner with sales and R&D teams to align strategies to customer needs and to provide high-quality sales support (selling tools, trend presentations, etc.), ensuring alignment and consistency across the DFA Ingredient Solutions division
Coordinate with other DFA divisions, as requested, to provide marketing resource support on behalf of DFA Ingredient Solutions
Assist in the development of customer and market segmentation strategies through customer analysis, global market analysis, and associated capability offerings
Provide support and insights to build account plans for strategic accounts
Specific to category applications:
Support portfolio management of Beverage and Nutrition EUC, from concept to implementation
Collaborate with Business Development Director and Sales Managers to develop and implement portfolio gap analysis and new product introductions
Support innovation pipeline
Lead ideation and conceptualization of innovation projects
Specific to category communications:
Utilize tools, reporting, and dashboard mechanisms to evaluate and communicate marketing tactic performance
Support and coordinate and build presentations for customer connectivity activities, including capability/concept meetings, customer market presentations, and customer visits. Travel and present on occasion
Monitor food trends on social media, news, ecommerce outlets, traditional grocery outlets, food influencers, chefs, restaurants that are related to our international focus and capabilities
Maintain master content marketing calendar and create marketing materials, such as product collateral, sales enablement tools and thought leadership, while enduring brand guidelines are met
Write, proofread, and edit creative and technical content across different mediums
Build, execute, and report on email campaigns within Pardot
Support in screening and qualifying marketing leads for sales or ecommerce hand-off
Execute industry relations activities as directed (i.e., trade shows, conferences, events, and meetings)
Prepare marketing activity reports and metrics for measuring program success
Partner with Corporate Communications and Market Insights when required
Participate in training sessions, meetings, skill building, and professional development classes

Minimum Requirements:
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Business; MBA preferred
5 to 8 years of marketing experience, including demonstrated project management skills or experience
Certification and/or License – N/A
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
Self-directed with a strong work ethic and a sense of urgency
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Proficient at managing marketing insights databases
Able to learn skills necessary to navigate additional informational systems
Able to lead cross-functional project team
Able to multi-task activities with shifting priorities
Able to independently lead and manage projects
Able to create strong, positive cross-functional relationships
Must be able to read, write and speak English
Travel:
15%-25% (1-2 times per quarter)

Salary: $80k-$100k based on experience
