General Purpose:

Participate in a cross-functional team environment responsible for development and support of core Dairy Farmers of America (DFA) business applications and processes. The focus of this position will be SharePoint and may include other applications such as Salesforce. The candidate will contribute to the design, development, implementation and support of assigned business applications. Work with business users to understand business requirements and determine an appropriate solution. Function as part of DFA’s IT organization and follow relevant applications, infrastructure and governance processes.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Set up, configure, and manage SharePoint sites to ensure a well-functioning and secure SharePoint environment

  • Gather business requirements and transform them into SharePoint and SalesForce processes that can be implemented and supported. This includes working with the business users to develop workflow and automation tasks within SharePoint and Salesforce

  • Perform general SharePoint and Salesforce administration

Required Minimum Qualifications:

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or similar field

  • 8+ years' experience working with SharePoint environments, including administration, development and workflow automation

  • Preferred experience and qualifications:

  • Microsoft recognized SharePoint certifications in administration or development

  • Ability to work with Microsoft Flow for automation and workflows

  • C#, VB.Net, or other programming language experience

  • SQL Server and Data Structure knowledge and experience

  • Experience with Salesforce administration

  • Able to understand basic software development languages and tools

  • Able to demonstrate written and verbal communications skills with the ability to effectively communicate with business users, stakeholders, technical teams, and various levels of management

  • Able to listen and communicate in a clear and concise manner, along with the ability to recognize the audience and tailor communications accordingly

  • Able to work independently

  • Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously, including the ability to prioritize

  • Able to organize time and resources effectively to achieve goals (i.e., organizational skills)

  • Able to demonstrate leadership qualities as a self-starter, set direction, and complete assignments

  • Able to interact effectively and cooperatively with employees at all levels

  • Able to demonstrate strong customer service orientation

  • Must be flexible with work schedules and available to work overtime on evenings and weekends, with or without advanced notice

  • Strong work ethic with ability and willingness to do ‘what it takes’

  • Able to work on-call

  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English
