Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor\'s Degree, A combination of education and relevant work experience may substitute for degree on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications:

Education: Master\'s Degree in Healthcare Management, Healthcare Administration, or Business Administration

Skills: Experience with health care, clinical data, and electronic medical record systems preferred. Familiarity with databases, information system technologies, and basic statistical analyses.

Job Duties Outlined:

  • Coordinate and communicate routinely with other division and department administrative and finance staff to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Work with the Clinical Data Manager, faculty, staff, and departmental teams to develop and implement appropriate basic analysis plans.
  • Perform basic statistical analyses (t tests, chi-square, regression, etc.) in support of QI and research projects.
  • Work with the Clinical Data Manager to troubleshoot data and analyze problems as they arise.
  • Participate in meetings as needed to reflect demands of departmental projects.
  • Provide raw data, summary reports or analysis output as needed to support activities and goals of the Family Medicine Patient and Family Advisory Board.
  • Ensure electronic data is handled appropriately and securely and is stored in accordance with KUMC information technology security policies.
  • Provide quarterly production, quality, billing, and access reports to department leadership.
  • As requested, scheduling project and management related appointments for the Senior Administrator & Assistant Director.

Compensation Statement:

The pay range listed for this position is determined by our compensation program using market data and salary benchmarking. A combination of factors is considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, education, experience and training, qualifications relative to the requirements of the position, and funding. At the University of Kansas Medical Center, a reasonable estimate for the starting pay range will be the minimum to midpoint of the posted range, taking into account the combination of factors listed above.
