POSITION SUMMARY

Mobile Instrument Service and Repair, Inc., among the nation's leaders in repair and maintenance services for reusable surgical equipment, is seeking a Customer Service Specialist for our Repair Center Division . Our primary goal is to consistently provide a high level of support and technical experience to the team to maintain clients, generate revenue, and grow the client base. The ideal candidate will be professional, organized, a fast learner, have a positive attitude and be ready to get to work. You will demonstrate a concern for customer service and attention to detail. This is a Monday thru Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM position with an hour lunch.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Processes incoming orders including verifying account information; recording make-model.

  • Provides price quote to customer or sales representative.

  • Provides professional correspondence both written & oral.

  • Verifies system information for accuracy.

  • Verifies total number of instruments on work order.

  • Organizes and coordinates work orders.

  • Provides customer service to sales representatives and facilities.

  • Obtains purchase order if not already assigned.

  • Provides customer service and technical support to clients and field service representatives.

  • Contacts clients with quotes and follow up to obtain approvals and PO’s as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or above.

  • Typing 40 WPM.

  • Microsoft Windows (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint a plus).

  • Previous customer service experience required.

  • Able to stand/sit/bend on a regular basis for 8 hours.

  • Able to lift and carry up to 15 lbs.

  • 20/20 vision or corrected 20/20 vision.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Knowledge of equipment identification, repairs, problem solving/troubleshooting, and medical terminology is a plus.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Ability to analyze and interpret data.

  • Communicates professionally both orally and written.

  • Effectively creates written communications for quotes.

  • Takes direction and works well with others.

  • Arrives at work promptly and regularly.

  • Works with direct and indirect supervision.
