BECOME A DETAILER/GRAPHICS INSTALLER AT PRIMEFLIGHT!

The Detail/Graphic Installer is responsible for the preparation, application, and maintenance of graphics, decals, and paint on aviation vehicles, support equipment, and other related items. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring that all vehicles and equipment maintain a high standard of visual appeal, accuracy, and operational functionality. The position requires more than just graphic installation; it involves careful attention to detail when cleaning, prepping, and finishing surfaces to meet both company standards and industry regulations.

WHAT IT’S LIKE TO WORK AS A DETAILER/GRAPHICS INSTALLER

· Prep trucks and tanks for painting, graphic application, and placard placement

· Cut, prepare, and apply vinyl graphics to ASTs, trucks, lav carts, tanks, and other equipment, often utilizing a ladder for reaching high or hard-to-access areas

· Mask or tape off components to prevent overspray

· Clean and detail the vehicle's exterior and interior following company standards

· Mix paint according to manufacture specifications

· Polish and buff imperfections as needed, particularly on aluminum tanks, to ensure a smooth and flawless finish

· Keep the garage/shop clean and organized, including performing weekly floor sweeps and organizing supplies and cabinets

· Monitor supply inventory and coordinate with the Manager to place orders, as necessary

· Adhere to the company's detailed checklist

· Brings their “A” game every day with energy and enthusiasm, respect for their team, and the highest regard for safety

· May be assigned other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS

· 18 years of age or older

· Eligible to work in the United States

· Minimum of two years of experience in vehicle graphics installation and painting, particularly on large equipment

· Strong math and measurement skills

· Proven experience in vehicle graphics installation and painting

· Familiarity with safety protocols relevant to the job

· Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

· Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, to include documents

· Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices

· Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means

· Pass a background check and drug screen

· Exposure to outdoor elements

· Be able to hear and respond to the spoken voice and to audible alarms

· Tasks may involve repetitive motions of the arms, wrists, hands and/or fingers

· Specific vision abilities required for this job include: Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less); distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more); peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point); depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships); ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)
