Tyson Foods Distribution Administrator (3S RTE) in Kansas City, Kansas
Assist the Warehouse Supervisor and performs clerical functions and logistic coordination of both inbound and outbound trucks in the Kansas City, KS meat slicing facility. Maintains outbound and internal movement of product in various databases and systems. Ensures that orders are properly processed to achieve inventory accuracy and customer service goals. Prepares daily production and activity reports, processes routine paperwork, filing and special projects as needed Responsible for accurately updating the perpetual inventory system by entering daily inventory transactions relating to shipped goods. Accurately records amount of items/product distributed. Generates and provides reports to supervisor. Assists in taking cycle counts and physical inventories. Physically counts items and records data. Researches variances in stocking level reflected by perpetual inventory system as compared to actual physical inventory and reports results to supervisor. Prepares and distributes standard inventory control documentation and reports including (but not limited to) bill of ladings, return authorizations, UPS shipping documents, vendor/inter-company receiving documents. Applicants must be in current position for a minimum of 6 months and meet the minimum requirements of the position. Applicant must have no adverse disciplinary actions on file regarding your performance or safety in effect and are not currently on a performance improvement plant within the last 6 months. Applicants must have no more than 4 attendance points to be eligible. Must be willing and able to lift, push, or carry up to 50lbs. and work in a faced-paced environment and requires repetitive motions. Must be able to stand, bend, reach overhead, and twist for long periods of time. Must be able to stand 8-12 hours a day on hard floor. Must have qualifications to apply.
