We are looking for a field-based supervisor to support our building automation and HVAC Controls business. This position will be based in our Kansas City, KS office.

As a leader in our organization, you will be responsible for managing a team that performs installations and commissioning for building automation systems. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, leadership, and accountability to ensure successful project execution, technical support, and time-and-materials (T&M) work.
You’ll Make a Difference by:
Leading, mentoring, and supervising the HVAC control specialist team by setting goals, monitoring performance, conducting employee reviews, and scheduling formal training.
Assigning and scheduling installation and commissioning tasks to the team, ensuring adherence to schedules, project plans, job specifications, and cost estimates. Implementing cost-containment procedures and processes to support project profitability.
Enhancing planned and booked margins for technical support programs, focusing on maintaining and improving profitability.
Overseeing the development and implementation of project plans to monitor and control the execution of work.
Reviewing customer feedback to ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and achievement of account growth goals.
Fostering effective communication and collaboration between sales, engineering, and execution teams to manage changes and discrepancies, minimizing costs and delays during estimating and project execution phases.
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience working within the building automation controls industry
Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations
Associates degree from an accredited institution
Legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
3+ years’ experience leading a field-based building automation controls team
Solid understanding of job financial reporting with ability to apply cost control measures for projects

The pay range for this position is $65500 - $112400 / year. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
