Industrial Maintenance Mechanic 1

Full time with permanent placement potential

Must be willing to work any shift - rotating schedule

What You will be Doing:

  • Maintain a safe and clean work area

  • Calibrate, repair, overhaul, maintain, construct, modify and install equipment and components

  • Maintain, repair, modify building infrastructure

  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic/pneumatic systems (air lines, solenoids)

  • Inspect, diagnose, and implement corrective actions on equipment and building systems

  • Review blueprints/technical drawings, and work orders in order to install, troubleshoot, and repair

  • Perform preventative maintenance

  • Install, adjust, repair, modify machinery, controls, rigging and installation equipment

What you bring to the Job:

  • Demonstrate knowledge of applicable 'code' requirements as may pertain to equipment / buildings

  • Ability to work independently

  • A written skill/knowledge test is administered prior to employment offers. The mechanical test contains questions which align with a millwrights knowledge

  • High School or Technical Diploma

  • 2-4 years' manufacturing experience required

  • Able to work OT as needed
