Job Title: MHE Operator Lead
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled MHE Operator Lead to join our team. This role involves manual labor and equipment operation, including forklifts, electric pallet jacks, stretch-wrappers, and pallet inverters. The ideal candidate will have experience in unloading products, verifying product accuracy, inspecting product conditions, and ensuring proper storage and order fulfillment.
Responsibilities
Unload products from tractor-trailers and rail containers.
Verify product received is identified and counted accurately.
Inspect the condition of received products, remove damaged or non-conforming products, and process defective products as per standard operating procedure.
Scan pallet barcodes using RF equipment.
Move and place products safely and securely in their proper storage location using heavy equipment.
Receive and evaluate printed orders for order selection and preparation requirements.
Fill orders by accurately picking products from storage areas utilizing pre-determined product stacking guidelines.
Use scanning devices and computers as needed to ensure order accuracy.
Correct shortages, over-counts, and incorrect batch codes as needed.
Move products from staging areas and/or directly from storage into trailers.
Inspect trucks for quality and sanitary requirements.
Verify markings, trailer numbers, and shipping documents.
Fill trucks using designated loading patterns and guidelines.
Properly secure loads for travel.
Essential Skills
Experience with sit-down forklift operation.
Proficiency in forklift and pallet jack operation.
Material handling skills.
Experience with RF scanners.
Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.
Ability to operate reach trucks and stand-up forklifts.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
1-2 years of equipment operation experience.
RF scanning experience.

Work Environment
The work environment is a 400,000 square foot warehouse that is heated in the winter, but has no air conditioning in the summer.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $20.50
