Mill Machinist
Pay Rate - $28 - $35/hr. (1st shift - Monday - Friday)
Job Description
A company in Kansas City, KS is looking for a machinist/programmer to take their products from 'cradle to grave'.
Responsibilities
Design foam or resin products in Solidworks
Work with G code
Find the most efficient way to create and machine the product
Machine products on a Mill
Quality check the finished product
Essential Skills
Experience programming in Solidworks
Experience writing programs in G Code
Experience operating a mill machine

Work Environment
Foam is their primary product, so it can get very dusty when the product is being made. Certain foam and resin materials have a strong smell. The facility has heaters for the winters but not AC in the summer, so it can get hot. The shift is from 7am to 3:30pm M-F, and during the summer, the hours are 6am to 2:30pm M-F.
