Kellanova Plant Production Scheduler in Kansas City, Kansas
As the Plant Production Scheduler in Kansas City, KS, you’ll have the opportunity to lead scheduling activities within the facility while supporting our human resources, labor, and employee relations team.
Our Plant Production Scheduler will play a crucial role in ensuring our production schedule runs efficiently. Beyond the core HR duties, you’ll dive into various other tasks, reflecting the dynamic nature of the position. The successful candidate will embody our culture of best, contributing to a thriving work environment that sets us apart.
The schedule for this position is Wednesday through Saturday, 8:30 am to 8:30 pm. Flexibility with the schedule will be required.
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
Data-driven— You’ll report on HR metrics as needed, maintain personnel files, and administer leaves of absence.
Drive Efficiency – You’ll contribute to efficient operations and maintain labor relations by accurately scheduling employees according to the plant’s collective bargaining agreements.
Collaboration is Key— You’ll have the chance to be “hands-on ” by partnering with Shift Operations to process production paperwork, conduct investigations, issue attendance disciplines, and research grievances and complaints.
Set the Pace – Getting new employees off to a great start sets the pace. You’ll prepare training materials and maintain documentation for new hire orientations, safety training, and job-specific training.
We’re Looking for Someone With
High School Diploma/GED with relevant experience.
Effective organizational and time management skills.
Ability to function in a union environment and promote positive employee relations.
Intermediate to advanced computer skills – primarily Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
