Job Title: Production Supervisor

Job Description

As a Production Supervisor, you will manage employees in various departments, supervising groups of 20-60 UAW workers. You will ensure that production costs, schedules are met while maintaining quality requirements. Your responsibilities will include compliance with local and national labor agreements, implementing divisional and corporate policies, maintaining safety and housekeeping standards, and having frequent contact with others outside the work group. You will also train, develop, and evaluate employees, keep management updated on developments, and maintain department records. Additionally, you will be responsible for the effective use of personnel, material, and equipment in support of SPQRC initiatives and must support plant goals in Safety, People, Quality, Responsiveness, and Cost.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 - 12 months.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Kansas City, Kansas.

Work Environment

The environment is very fast-paced and can be stressful, requiring everyone to work with a high sense of urgency. The plant operates two shifts, Monday through Friday, with possible weekend work. The dress code is polo and jeans.
