Production Worker
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Production Worker to join our team. As a Production Worker, you will be responsible for installing wheelchair ramps in transit vans, using various hand and power tools, and reading blueprints. You will also work on the production line, ensuring vehicles move steadily through final inspection, and you will be flexible and skilled enough to move ahead or behind your assigned work area to prevent bottlenecks.
Responsibilities
Install wheelchair ramps in transit vans
Lift up to 50lbs and assemble parts
Use a variety of hand and power tools, including bandsaws, circular saws, jig saws, routers, solder and soldering irons, micro torches, drills, screw guns, utility knives, and air saws
Read blueprints to complete tasks
Work independently and with a team to reach daily goals and keep the production line moving
Use measuring tape accurately
Work with chemicals as needed
Track supplies and equipment, notifying manager of inventory levels
Adapt and learn new areas of the production line or new builds
Train new hires in your area of responsibility as needed

Essential Skills
Experience with hand and power tools

Work Environment
You will work in a nice facility that is non-climate controlled. The work hours are from 5am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday. The role requires you to function capably in a production environment using standard equipment and participate in safety programs and trainings.
