Rebuild Quality Production Supervisor
Understand how gasoline powertrain components are designed, manufactured and function
Knowledge of teardown, inspection, and basic overhaul procedures of powertrain components
Must be able to partially or totally disassemble powertrain components to identify root cause failure
Ability to inspect components to identify damage, debris and wear patterns
Ability to use and read measuring equipment, gauges and other diagnostic equipment including micrometers, caliper and gauges
Excellent oral communication skills and technical writing
Attention to detail
Professional in appearance and demeanor
Must be flexible and have a positive attitude
Proven leadership skills leading employees and meeting quota and deadlines
Ability to analyze and improve the daily operation to decrease costs and improve efficiency
Capable of learning and retaining knowledge in a quota based environment
WYCO Major Component Quality Production Supervisor responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Under the supervision of the Rebuild Production Manager, Inspect engine blocks, cylinder heads, transmission forward drum assemblies and rear axle assemblies for deficiencies prior to reassembly and during warranty period for root cause failures. Measure components to check clearances and fitments. Maintain a high level of quality by identifying, documenting and providing regular feedback and findings, conduct and document research repair data. Create reports on failure analysis findings and determinations.

Primary Responsibilities:
Assemble components for trucks, trailers and rental support items on a production line within given cycle times.
Utilize proper tools to align drill, and secure components with fasteners.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience with air and hand tools a plus.
Able to follow detailed written/verbal instructions and standard operating procedures
Able to work efficiently as part of a team
Regular attendance is essential.
Work Environment:
The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts, machines, fumes or irritating chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves or shields.
Physical Demands:
The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods both indoors and outdoors while remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs assisted or unassisted.
