Summary: We are seeking a Salesforce Manager with a proven history of delivering large, multi-discipline technical solutions from initiation through implementation. This role entails spearheading a development team, working closely with delivery managers on project requirements, and ensuring top-notch software solution deliveries. We seek a motivated leader who excels in such a leadership role.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Lead and mentor a team of software developers, ensuring their growth and successful project completion through guidance and support.

  • Partner with project managers, architects, support managers, and other stakeholders to seamlessly integrate custom applications into the broader ecosystem.

  • Optimize resource allocation, manage priorities, and enhance team productivity to meet project deadlines and goals efficiently.

  • Coordinate with external vendors or third-party providers for software components, ensuring smooth collaboration and integration.

  • Proactively identify potential risks and challenges in software projects, implementing strategies to mitigate them, particularly focusing on team member needs.

  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, offer constructive feedback, and establish development objectives to improve team members' skills and capabilities.

  • Manage technical project meetings daily, collaborating with involved parties for necessary initiatives.

  • Provide guidance and direction to team members to ensure project success and efficiency.

  • Promote cross-functional skill development among team members to foster a well-rounded team.

  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices, offering advice and recommendations to enhance existing IT policies, procedures, and strategies.

  • Implement development best practices and methodologies, including agile, to optimize project outcomes.

  • Plan and execute a transition to support once implementation is complete by working closely with GAF and managed services teams.

  • At least 7 years of continuous IT and business/industry work experience with at least 3 years managing teams.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT/Computer related field (advanced degree preferred).

Technical Knowledge/Skills

  • Deep understanding of many technical disciplines with a focus on Salesforce (Sales, Service, and Experience Clouds), but additional experience including but not limited to, .Net Core, .Net Framework 4.7, PeopleSoft, Mulesoft, Sitecore/CMS

  • Technical experience with the following technologies including JavaScript, React JS, JQuery, SQL Server, Okta, Akamai, Payment Integrations, Checkmarx, Autorabit

  • Experience with Salesforce declarative development using Process Builder, Workflows, Lightning App Builder, etc.

  • Experience with Salesforce platform programming languages like Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, APEX, SOQL, and SOSL.

  • Expert knowledge of environment management, org strategy, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies.

  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure and supporting services (DevOps, Kubernetes, etc.), including broad knowledge of supporting Infrastructure technology (Networking, Database, etc)

  • Expert knowledge of security requirements, microservices, service-oriented architecture, design patterns, SOLID design principles, multi-threaded systems, automated unit testing, test-driven development, and acceptance test-driven development.

  • Experience with agile development methodologies including Scrum.

  • Good understanding of serverless architecture and NoSQL databases (e.g. CosmosDB).

  • Good understanding of various authentication protocols like oAuth2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, JWT, and others.

  • Solid understanding and experience in DevOps methodology.

General Knowledge/Skills

  • Ability to manage team members on multiple complex assignments.

  • Solid understanding and proven track record leveraging industry best practices and standards including modern architecture and development practices, ITIL, Agile and DevOps.

  • Strong collaborative skills to work across multiple stakeholder groups.

  • Ability to effectively communicate and report to different levels within and outside the IT Organization.

  • Strong Vendor Management Skills.

Annual Salary Range: 145,800-186,300
