Job Description

Oracle’s Social Impact team seeks a Specialist to assist with the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities globally, with a focus on volunteering.

In this position, you will:

  • Support the continued success and expansion of the Oracle Volunteering program globally by sourcing, planning, and executing volunteering projects in the areas of Education, Environment, Community, and Health.

  • Boost Oracle Volunteering operations globally, including taking care of tools, resources and internal communications channels to drive engagement.

  • Develop Oracle Volunteering projects that support and engage key Lines of Business (LOBs) and Global Business Units (GBUs). Recruit and activate employees to participate in volunteering projects.

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal groups and nonprofits to ensure employees and employees know how to participate in volunteering projects and have an enjoyable experience, as well as a clear sense of purpose.

  • Plan, manage, and execute small and large-scale volunteering events.

  • Support annual volunteer recognition awards and create additional ways to highlight employee volunteering efforts throughout the year.

  • Produce very high-quality content and presentations for internal and external Oracle Social Impact communications; and represent Oracle Social Impact in internal and external settings.

  • Ensure the appropriateness and relevance of Oracle Volunteering activities globally through social impact and/or nonprofit experience, innovation and adaptation to changing conditions.

Responsibilities

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree minimum. 2-7 years' experience in program management, CSR, nonprofit, or a combination preferred.

  • Technical fluency to understand the technical needs of nonprofits and match those needs with employee skills.

  • Experience guiding projects and programs from design to execution and being accountable to multiple stakeholders.

  • Fluency in English and exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Exceptional critical thinking, research, assessment, and presentation skills.

  • Superb detail orientation as well as vision.

  • The ability to represent Oracle Social Impact with passion and professionalism.

  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $79,000 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
