If so, we would like to hear from you! Mandiant is looking for a Senior UI Engineer with a strong history of building rich, web applications with a focus on data visualization. The successful candidate will be developing and building a new front-end interface for Mandiant Analysts to locate, identify, and classify treat information to drive data in the Threat Intelligence and Forensics Platform. This role will work alongside UX designers, business stakeholders, analysts, Threat Intelligence leadership, and the Engineering team. What you will do: * * Build intuitive data visualizations for complex relationships across large scale datasets * Implement new UI features and update existing UI functionality * Collaborate closely with engineering leadership, UX designers, product managers, and business stakeholders to establish requirements and understand platform capabilities * Hands-on design and development of wireframes, mockups and rapid prototypes with a high level of quality * You will take the user experience design from the prototype, mockup and wireframe to its final implementation state. This includes developing and implementing the user experience within the new user interface. * Writing tests to ensure cross platform presentation and performance of UI * Effective and articulate presentation of design rationale to key stakeholders * Create, iterate, and inspire ideas for future experience enhancements of the platform *Minimum Requirements: * 5+ years of experience developing rich, browser-based applications * Demonstrated experience in and knowledge of modern UI and UX principles and best practices * Proficient in JavaScript development including modern frameworks (HTML, CSS, JavaScript ES6, TypeScript and others) * Deep understanding of working with REST APIs as well as GraphQL * Experience with React, Node.js * Experience with data visualization libraries * Experience with OAuth and JWT for security * An eye for visualizing complex data sets in meaningful ways to provide maximum insight to users * Strong design sense and capability to iterate quickly with HTML/CSS * Understanding of cross-browser differences and responsive design techniques to offer a great experience across a variety of platforms * Experience writing and maintaining JavaScript unit tests * Experience using CI/CD DevOps pipeline (Jenkins, Drone, etc.) * Experience using Jira, Confluence, and Git version control system Additional Qualifications: * Understanding of common frontend security vulnerabilities * Familiarity with cyber security * Experience with backend languages and MVC frameworks * Understanding of CSS preprocessors At Mandiant we are committed to our #OneTeam approach combining diversity, collaboration, and excellence.
