Position Summary:- The SQAE Project Manager will require the ability to be direct and complete projects for telecommunication clients using thorough knowledge of telecommunication industry. This person will lead/work closely on assigned projects from planning, preliminary design, site walks, landlord coordination, tracking project milestones, front end engineering, preparation of engineering tasks, project management, zoning and building permit applications, jurisdiction submittals, and client weekly engagement.

Duties and Responsibilities: -The essential duties and responsibilities regularly performed and normally assigned to this position are as follows:

  • Business development and client management.

  • Interface with external customers building relationships and assuring a strong customer focus.

  • Will work with multi-discipline site acquisition and engineering team and interact with other inter-company departments.

  • Use software to request engineering tasks and track progress.

  • Provide and oversee effective designs to meet client requirements.

  • Perform field activities such as observe and record existing field conditions, take and verify measurements within project area.

  • Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography, geotechnical reports, alta surveys, topographic surveys, and other topographical and geologic data to plan projects.

  • Coordinating documents for regulatory agencies.

  • Coordinating with other internal team members on multi-discipline projects, which often includes drafters, electrical and structural engineers.

  • Resolve design and development problems.

  • Preparation of Landlord and tower company applications

  • Coordinate, order and track title, environmental reports, regulatory reports, lease exhibits and plans

  • Prepare and update site status reports/databases, site close-out packages, and attend client meetings as required

  • Maintain frequent and personal contact with clients to build strong relationships.

  • Ensure projects run smoothly and are completed within budget and on time.

  • Responsible for quality and delivery of construction documentation.

  • Capable and experienced in managing and performing projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • Other duties as identified and assigned.

Competencies, Education, and Experience: To perform this job successfully, the individual will possess the abilities or aptitudes to perform each duty proficiently.- Education, Experience and Computer Skills are representative of minimum levels of knowledge, skills and/or abilities.

  • Bachelor-s Degree or equivalent experience

  • 4 years working in structural engineering, real estate, contracts or proposals

  • Experience in Telecom industry, specifically in wireless communication site design

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans and specifications

  • Background in all, or some, of the following areas:-- wireless designs, site evaluation and selection, acquisition, zoning, construction, permitting, real estate

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have proficient working knowledge of the MS Office Suite and demonstrated ability to learn other software as necessary.

Travel:- This position is generally expected to require overnight travel.- The individual in this role should be able and willing to travel as required.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:- The standard work environment for this position is an indoors business office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.- While performing the duties of this job, the employee will frequently sit talk or hear, and will occasionally stoop, kneel, and reach with or use hands and arms.
