Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Video Content Specialist with strong video editing and motion graphics expertise to join our in-house creative team. This role is ideal for an innovative thinker with a solid understanding of design fundamentals and a focus on video content creation. The Senior Video Content Specialist will lead the visual elements of marketing materials, proposals, presentations, events, and, most importantly, videos for Kiewit’s diverse markets. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a collaborative spirit, and the expertise to manage video projects from conception to delivery.

District Overview

The Kiewit Energy marketing, creative and proposal team provide get-work services to an array of markets, including power generation, transmission and distribution, renewables, industrial, oil and gas, and water/wastewater. Individuals in this department get exposure to a mix of high profile, complex pursuits across North America valued from $5M-$6B. This incredibly profitable, competitive, fun group focuses on winning more work with high-quality, client-focused sales strategies through creative communication techniques. Our rapidly growing team, which includes graphic designers, proposal professionals, writers, digital strategists, marketers, and data analytics brings vast experience, communication expertise, innovative concepts, and best practices to all projects we support across the company.

Location

This position can be based out of our Lenexa, KS or Houston, TX offices. Opportunities for flexible work are available.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute video and motion graphics projects, including concept development, editing, and final production, ensuring they align with Kiewit’s brand standards.

• Collaborate with the proposals team to create unique branding, professional page layouts, and compelling infographics for each pursuit strategy.

• Develop visually persuasive marketing collateral, including brochures, flyers, banners, social media content, and client presentations.

• Execute creative projects from concept through completion across all print, video, and electronic media formats.

• Manage production of all print pieces, using in-house tools and coordinating with vendors as necessary.

• Work with internal clients and external vendors to produce compelling, on-budget, on-time videos for a variety of marketing and event needs.

• Provide effective solutions for any creative requests, ensuring timely delivery while juggling multiple projects with shifting priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications

• A degree in a design or related field (e.g., graphic design, visual communications, marketing, etc.) or equivalent work experience.

• 5+ years of experience working in video content creation, design, or marketing teams, digital or advertising agencies.

• An electronic portfolio is required, showcasing expertise in video editing, motion graphics, multi-page document layouts, logo design, marketing collateral, and infographics.

• Advanced skills in videography, video editing, and motion graphics.

• Adobe Creative Suite expert user (Premiere, After Effects, InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator required).

• Expert user of Microsoft Office 360 (PowerPoint and Word required).

• Strong knowledge of video production fundamentals, processes, and exceptional attention to detail.

• Highly creative with excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.

• Able to work independently or within a team.

• Occasional travel may be required.
