Job Title: General Laborer - Concrete and Masonry Construction
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled General Laborer to join our team for concrete and masonry construction projects. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of manual tasks to prepare surfaces, handle materials, and maintain a clean and safe job site. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in diverse weather conditions.
Responsibilities
Perform manual labor in concrete and masonry construction projects.
Prepare surfaces for concrete.
Shovel concrete into construction areas.
Perform a variety of general labor tasks as needed.
Maintain a clean job site by picking up tools and equipment and securing the site daily.
Handle and store materials properly.
Load and unload trucks, haul and hoist materials.
Ensure compliance with safety and incident reporting procedures.
Essential Skills
Knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials, and supplies used in concrete and masonry construction.
Understanding of first aid and applicable safety precautions.
Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule.
Physical capability to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods, and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse conditions.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and equipment operation.
1+ years of experience in general labor, concrete construction, and commercial construction.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Experience with using tape measures.
OSHA 10 certification.

Work Environment
You will work both indoors and outdoors, performing tasks in a variety of weather conditions. Be prepared to stand for extended periods, walk on uneven terrain, and lift up to 75 lbs. Safety is a priority, so steel-toed boots, a hard hat, and safety glasses are required at all times. You will work across various departments, gaining valuable experience in different areas.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
