Cargill Warehouse Worker in Kansas City, Kansas

This full time position is located in Kansas City, KS; however please expect receiving calls from a 952 area code in case you are considered. Relocation assistance is not provided.

Position Purpose:

At Cargill Feed & Nutrition we provide customized animal nutrition solutions to customers across the Americas, Europe and Asia. We operate some of the most technologically advanced plants in the world, but they can't run by themselves - we depend on creative, responsible, hardworking individuals like you. Principal Accountabilities:

  • Performing facility operations such as loading/unloading trucks, stacking bags, handling product, etc.

  • Documenting completed and tracking product; utilizing computers as necessary

  • Inspecting products to oversee product quality assurance

  • Interacting regularly with peers and management to pursue continuous improvement of facility operations and promote teamwork

  • Operating forklift

  • Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations

  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment

  • Other duties as assigne

Requirements:

  • Able to work in the US

  • Cargill requires that employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility.

  • Must be able to communicate/understand English

  • Must be able to perform physical job duties including bending/stooping and shoveling and lifting up to 50lbs

  • Basic computer skills

  • Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

  • Ability to work overtime including holidays, nights, weekends or different shifts with advance notice

  • Experience operating a forklift for a minimum of 1 year

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or Equivalent.

  • Prior experience in production related work
