A Day in the Life of a Territory Manager:
Set the strategy for local Retail Product Agronomists and Retail Business Managers to support and deliver results with targeted business accounts.
Business forecasting also includes communicating broadly market dynamics that impact the execution of Brevant business plans.
Provide input into sales strategies and programs and execute plans to achieve results.
Drive a sales effectiveness plan for the area that ensures retail execution of seed sales providing a high-quality Brevant Seeds Brand experience for all.
Perform direct sales activities with retail dealers as well as provide leadership, vision, and management of sales staff.
Identify key accounts to focus resources on in each business cycle driving two-way accountability.
Develop with retailer decision-makers marketing and training plans to execute a growth strategy unique to each key account
Act as the primary advocate and business partner for key accounts in a defined region.
What expertise have you grown?
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Eight (8) years of Ag marketing or sales experience to include the management and development of employees and teams
Knowledge or training in a specialized, technical, or professional discipline such as Agronomy, Plant Science, Marketing, agri-business, Business Administration, or related field.
Keep in mind, equivalent amounts of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of the above requirements
