Responsibilities:

A Day in the Life of a Territory Manager:

  • Set the strategy for local Retail Product Agronomists and Retail Business Managers to support and deliver results with targeted business accounts.

  • Business forecasting also includes communicating broadly market dynamics that impact the execution of Brevant business plans.

  • Provide input into sales strategies and programs and execute plans to achieve results.

  • Drive a sales effectiveness plan for the area that ensures retail execution of seed sales providing a high-quality Brevant Seeds Brand experience for all.

  • Perform direct sales activities with retail dealers as well as provide leadership, vision, and management of sales staff.

  • Identify key accounts to focus resources on in each business cycle driving two-way accountability.

  • Develop with retailer decision-makers marketing and training plans to execute a growth strategy unique to each key account

  • Act as the primary advocate and business partner for key accounts in a defined region.

Qualifications

Requirements:

What expertise have you grown?

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

  • Eight (8) years of Ag marketing or sales experience to include the management and development of employees and teams

  • Knowledge or training in a specialized, technical, or professional discipline such as Agronomy, Plant Science, Marketing, agri-business, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Keep in mind, equivalent amounts of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of the above requirements
