Job Description Summary:

This role is responsible for ensuring incoming end-user orders are complete, accurate, contract compliant, and aligned with internal policies and business guidelines as assigned by the Sr. Manager, Sales Operations. Resource functions as part of a Subject Matter Expert (SME) team for quoting, deal flow and order processing for the sales organization.

  • Assume end-to-end responsibility for handling assigned incoming end-user orders from field; responsibilities include opportunity creation, quoting, and order handling.

  • Work closely with the sales team in reviewing and processing orders by coordinating and assisting with complex quote and/or policy questions and questions related to deal flow process and order processing.

  • Investigate and ensure compliance with historical contract terms and pricing when necessary and take action accordingly

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Sales, Finance, RevRec, and Legal) to ensure expedient and compliant handling of orders while ensuring alignment with policies and obtain feedback on process improvement

  • Escalate quote approvals per discount and quote approval process including thorough analysis and application of sound business judgement

  • Test new SFDC/CPQ features as well as new modules, versions and/or functionality on an as needed basis

  • Investigate license discrepancies when requested to do so

  • Assist sales reps with responding to RFPs/RFIs

  • Monitor Opportunities to ensure they’re progressing through the pipeline on a timely basis; ensure Opportunity and quote data is accurate

  • Assist sales teams with other sales related activities on an as needed basis
