We are looking for an Employment Training Specialist to play a key role in furthering our mission in our mission services area.
Summary/Objective:
Reporting to the Community Employment Manager, the Employment Training Specialist provides comprehensive searches in job placement activities. These include, but are not limited to job coaching, job placement, follow-through and review.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for the implementation of the Community Employment Program.
Develop employment work sites with business and industry.
Initiate agreements with businesses and industries on the basis of their needs and the capability to meet those needs through the Community Employment Program.
Coordinate problem solving activities with referring agencies and seek necessary technical assistance to maintain employment.
Be responsible for monthly documentation as required by Vocational Rehabilitation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Social Service, Special Education or other related fields preferred, but not required. Will substitute 6 months of experience for every semester of college.
Pay starting at $17.00/hour.
