We need seasonal help to assist with planting our crops (Corn, wheat, milo, soybeans, silage hay), taking care of the crop during the summer by spraying crops and harvesting crop in the fall. During the winter months employee will need to haul the harvest crop to storage bins and elevators. Job duties will include: prepare fields for planting, attach farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools, operate tractors, seed drills, engage in planting, weeding, spraying and/or harvesting activities, observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions, load crops and unload crops, operate equipment to harvest crops, inspect, adjust, and complete routine maintenance and repairs on equipment.

Family housing not available. Housing will be clean and meet applicable Fed, State and local housing standards. Workers must maintain neat and clean housing. Housing/utilities are provided at no cost to workers who are unable to return to their place of residence the same day. If both male and female workers are hired: separate toilet, bathing and sleeping rooms will be provided.

Employer is not a H-2ALC. Employees will be provided with an employer owned vehicle to drive to and from work and to town for errands. Daily transportation schedule will coincide with the work schedule outlined on this application, or as agreed upon between employer and employee based on seasonal demands and/or workload. The employer will pay the worker for reasonable costs incurred by the worker for transportation and daily subsistence from the place from which the worker has come to work for the employer, whether in the U.S. or abroad to the place of employment (inbound/outbound). The employer will permit workers to select any means of transportation they choose and reimburse workers at no less than the most economical and reasonable common carrier transportation charges for the distances involved.
