Contractor, Senior Scientist II/III, Biological Sciences 2046225\ Location: Lawrence, KS (Onsite)\ Science/ Focus: Oncology\ Job Overview:Seeking a motivated Senior Scientist with cancer biology expertise to help develop small molecule therapeutics on our clients oncology drug discovery team.\ Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct advanced experiments using multiomics to identify and validate new drug targets, and develop assays to test therapeutic potential.
- Collaborate closely with senior researchers and external partners to advance drug discovery and biomarker development.
- Mentor junior scientists, ensure meticulous documentation, and stay updated with the latest scientific developments.
- Enhance collaborative culture, adhere to safety standards, and communicate findings effectively through reports and presentations.
Primary Job Requirements:
- PhD in Cancer Biology or related field with 4+ years industry experience in drug discovery and strong molecular biology skills.
- Experience in oncology with the ability to independently design and conduct complex experiments.
- Ability to manage multiple research projects simultaneously and proficient in MS Office and scientific graphing.
- Demonstrated scientific excellence via publications in peer-reviewed journals or presentations at major conferences.
