Job Description:
As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will serve as the primary point of contact for specific department functions and assist with employee relations issues, questions, and concerns. You will build and maintain effective working relationships with staff at all levels of the organization, assist with all aspects of recruitment and onboarding efforts, and conduct new hire orientation. Additionally, you will maintain and ensure the accuracy of information in the HRIS, audit employment-related documents for accuracy and compliance, and assist in the evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of the department in relation to established goals.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for specific department functions.
Assist with employee relations issues, questions, and concerns.
Build and maintain effective working relationships with staff at all levels.
Assist with all aspects of recruitment and onboarding efforts.
Conduct new hire orientation.
Maintain and ensure the accuracy of information in the HRIS.
Audit employment-related documents for accuracy and compliance.
Assist in the evaluation of reports, decisions, and results in relation to established goals.
Skills & Qualifications:
3+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting required.
Experience using Kronos, UKG, and/or other ERP software.
Proficient computer skills, including MS Office Suite and HRIS software.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and establish credibility as a trusted HR professional.
Familiarity with employment laws and standard HR concepts, practices, and procedures.
Proven ability to apply HR knowledge.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is highly preferred.
Work Environment:
The position requires working in a manufacturing setting. You will be in the office Monday through Friday, with occasional additional hours as needed. The role offers consistent learning opportunities and annual profit-sharing bonuses.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00
