Insight Global Java Developer in Lawrence, Kansas
Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Java Developer to support our client in Lawrence, KS in a hybrid environment working 2 days onsite. The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of experience as a full-stack developer, comfortable working on both front-end and back-end tasks (50% each). The candidate will be working on a large, complex application that supports educators, and should be comfortable digging into the codebase with little direction. The candidate should be proficient in the following technologies: Spring MVC, Spring Batch, jQuery, Bootstrap, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, MyBatis, and AWS. The candidate will be joining a smaller team of 8 developers, and should be a strong team player who can fill gaps as needed and show initiative. This would be a great fit for a candidate who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys working on complex applications! This role is looking to start ASAP.

Skills and Requirements
· 2-3 years of experience as a Java programmer/developer
· Front and backend programming experience
Bootstrap experience on the front end
· Experience with jQuery
· Experience with PostgreSQL
· Familiar with MyBatis
· AWS Cloud experience
· Experience working in a Spring Boot environment using Spring Batch and Spring MVC frameworks
Experience with setting up batch jobs in Spring Batch
· Ability to take high-level requirements and translate them into design ideas · Experience working on an educational application
