Job Title: Microbiology ManagerJob Description
Seeking an experienced Microbiology Manager to provide technical knowledge and leadership for sterilization processes, manage testing schedules for timely product release, and ensure compliance with pharmaceutical site cleaning. This role entails oversight of the cleanroom environment, technical lead responsibilities for internal/external stakeholders, regulatory inspections, and maintaining certification procedures. Additionally, the role supports activities related to testing, qualification, system improvements, and compliance. The ideal candidate will ensure proper microbiological monitoring of plant utility systems and develop solutions for environmental, particulate, microbial, and sterilization challenges.
Hard Skills
10 years’ experience in a pharmaceutical quality control role
5 years supervisory/management experience
Experience in FDA regulated GMP environment
Bachelor’s degree in microbiology or related science field

The work environment is very fast paced, requiring the ability to adapt quickly and effectively. Despite the size of 120-130 employees, the atmosphere retains start-up vibes with a need for flexibility and multitasking. The company is on track to go commercial with a product by the end of Q2 2025.
