Air Medical Group Holdings Pilot - RW SBA 111 Lawrence, KS in Lawrence, Kansas

To assist in operating the aircraft in a safe and proficient manner, while complying with all applicable FAR’s, Company Ops Specs/Manual contents, Aircraft Flight Manual and any policies and procedures set forth by Seven Bar Aviation. 

All aircraft are operated single pilot in a highly dynamic environment during both day and night operations. Pilots work with a team of medical experts who are extensively trained to operate as productive crew members in the flight setting.

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Completes preflight planning and preparation.

Conforms to normal, abnormal and emergency operations.

Maintains a professional manner with all cliental and Seven Bar employees.

Assists in aeronautical decision-making and exercises sound judgment.

Strives to maintain a teamwork environment while on duty.

Assists in post-flight duties.

Completes all necessary paperwork.

Assists Captain with all duties as assigned.

Attends monthly safety meetings.

Requirements :

Current FAA Commercial Certificate with rotorcraft

Helicopter instrument rating

Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate

2,000 Total flight Hours

1,500 Total Helicopter Hours,

1,000 total helicopter PIC Hours

500 turbine hours

200 helicopter night flight hours (aided and/ or unaided)

200 Total Instrument Time(actual /hood/sim)

50 hour actual WX

Preferences:

300 night flight hours / With ½ being conducted cross country flights

Prior EMS experience/ IFR experience

1000 Turbine hours

Our pilots are scheduled either 4 consecutive days on and 4 consecutive days off or seven consecutive days on and seven consecutive days off. The consecutive shifts are 12-hours per day shifts mixed with day shifts and night shifts that accommodate required regulatory rest requirements.
