Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Music OR comparable music teaching experience, as evidenced in application materials
One year experience teaching music to students either in a classroom setting OR in private music lessons

Advertised Salary Range:
$15.00 - $40.00 commensurate with experience and qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree OR post-graduate study
One year experience as a graduate teaching assistant in the KU School of Music or experience working with KU School of Music faculty
Position Overview:
This position works with direction from the Camp Director to create and teach curriculum for the Midwestern Music Camps. This position will require expertise in a specific area of music, including but not limited to: performance, conducting, music education, music theory, music history, specific music styles, or other knowledge and skills as required.
Positions will provide temporary assistance in a variety of areas to include student instruction. Work may include, but is not limited to project or program assistance, and small ensemble direction.
