Job Description:
75% - Provides communication and outreach support for all faculty development programming, including but not limited to coordinating the scheduling of and logistics for programs, events, and presenters, inclusive of day-of programming needs, space reservations and set-up, catering, technology, and materials and resources needed for the day. In addition, this role will provide oversight of the planning, preparation, and distribution of announcements in coordination with the Office’s broader communication plans; creating programming announcements in the University’s events calendar; design and development of program support materials, in line with KU and the Office’s branding guidelines; coordination of outreach and communication that increases awareness of program offerings; and, assistance with timely follow-up. Ensures accessibility and assists with accommodations for programs to support the inclusion of all participants.
20% - Coordinates the process for tracking participant progression, assessment processes, and reporting outcomes in alignment with strategic goals for faculty development programming and outreach. Documents, organizes, and files programming information and historical data in the Office’s shared drive.
5% - Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree plus three years related experience.
Strong written communication skills as demonstrated by submitted application materials.
Strong organizational and time management skills as evidenced by application materials.
Work experience that required the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines and a strong project management skillset as demonstrated in application materials.
Work experience that required the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a variety of situations as evidenced by application materials.
At least 2 years experience with the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Teams.

Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in marketing, higher education, English or related field.
Experience with event planning and project management in a higher education setting.
Experience working with faculty.
Flexible work schedule to accommodate attendance at events (which may include evenings).
At least 2 years experience with the Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator.
Position Overview:
This position serves as a Program Coordinator for the Office of Faculty Affairs. The position will provide communication and program planning support for the Office’s faculty development programs under the direction of the Associate Vice Provost for Faculty Development. Responsibilities include coordinating and scheduling of all aspects of the program offerings, providing timely outreach and follow-up communication, and supporting the program assessment process. The ideal candidate will be organized and detail-oriented, have experience with project and event management, and have strong communication skills. This position requires a high level of teamwork, discretion, professionalism, and flexibility. This position will report to the Associate Vice Provost for Faculty Development.
