Actalent Quality Assurance Manager in Lawrence, Kansas

Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager

  • The Quality Assurance Manager implements and maintains the quality management system, ensuring that current policies comply with regulatory standards. This role serves as a liaison between Manufacturing and QA, reviewing and approving production batch records and GMP product labels for compliance and release. The position supports FDA/Regulatory inspection activities, regulatory filings, and internal and external audits.

  • The manager will collect and present performance metrics, train staff, collaborate with various departments, and participate in or lead project teams as a Quality representative. Additionally, the role involves developing, reviewing, and approving various protocols and strategies to maintain compliance and inspection readiness.

Hard Skills

  • BS/BA in Life Science (Biology or Biochemistry) or Equivalent

  • Minimum 6 years pharmaceutical experience

  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in Quality Assurance Management

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Lawrence, Kansas.

The work environment is very fast-paced and requires the ability to adapt quickly and efficiently. Despite being a medium-sized company, the atmosphere retains a startup vibe, with a focus on flexibility and readiness to handle multiple ongoing tasks. The company is gearing up to go commercial with a product by the end of Q2 2025.
