Job Description:
40% - Oversee and execute tasks related to assigned grants, ensuring compliance with funding requirements and successful program implementation. This includes managing administrative duties, providing training to ATK access sites and other key stakeholder professionals, developing and distributing educational materials, and analyzing data to assess program effectiveness.
20% - Develop, execute, and maintain a strategic communication plan.
20% - Design and lead outreach initiatives, ensuring impactful engagement with key stakeholders, including community partners, subcontractors, and funding agencies. This includes the management of marketing initiatives and content for social media. The individual will cultivate strong, collaborative relationships while proactively networking to expand partnerships and enhance program reach and impact.
5% - Travel to AT Access Sites, attend meetings conducted by key stakeholders, and participate in large and small events to increase awareness of ATK services, represent the program, and for program development.
5% - Maintain knowledge and awareness of private and public funding entities to support Kansans in the acquisition of assistive technology.
5% - Under guidance of Directors, track expenditures and participate in budget planning meetings to ensure appropriate allocation of funds.
5% - Under the guidance of ATK directors assist with data collection for responding to requests for proposals (i.e. state and federal grant) that would provide additional resources and opportunities to increase the acquisition of assistive technology by persons who have disabilities and health conditions.

Required Qualifications:
Master's degree or Bachelor's degree and 5 years related experience.
Experience developing and maintaining a strategic communication plan as evidenced by application materials.
Experience with Word, Excel, and/or PowerPoint as evidenced by application materials.
Experience working with the public either in person or through electronic devices/media as evidenced by application materials.

Position Overview:
The Research Project Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating projects related to the acquisition of Assistive Technology under the direction of the Assistive Technology for Kansans (ATK) Program Directors. Key initiatives include, but are not limited to, Assistive Technology for Kansans, the Kansas Deaf-Blind Equipment Distribution Program, Infant Toddler Services, and Medicaid Beneficiaries.
This role involves collaborating with ATK directors to develop and implement programmatic content and activities that enhance awareness of ATK and assistive technology among sub-contractors, community partners, and the university. The Research Project Manager will independently oversee assigned projects, ensuring efficient execution, alignment with program goals, and effective stakeholder engagement.
