30% - Setup venues for specific performance needs.

30% - Attend rehearsals and performances, serving as running crew as required.

20% - Return venues to the stock configuration after performances.

10% - Routine maintenance of theatrical systems and the venue itself.

10% - Other duties as assigned to address the needs of the Department of Theatre and Dance.

Work Schedule:

Required Qualifications:

  1. Experience with standard theatrical operating procedures: Hang and focus lighting fixtures, program and operate light console, configure and operate audio system and other standard theatrical operations adhering to safety standards as evidenced in application material or from previous work experience.

Advertised Salary Range:

$15 - $20 per hour

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience with video and streaming as demonstrated by application materials.

  2. Experience with DAW's (ProTools, ASudition, etc.)

  3. Experience with Qlab.

  4. Experience troubleshooting audio, lighting, video, streaming and multimedia systems as evidenced in application materials.

Position Overview:

Assist Technical Director with addressing and implementing the technical needs of productions in various venues utilized by the Department of Theatre and Dance.
