JEO’s Water Resources Engineering Department provides expertise and services in Hydrologic and Hydraulic Analysis, Urban Drainage Evaluation and Design, Watershed Planning and Implementation, Levee Evaluation and Design, Dam Evaluation and Design, Floodplain Management, Water Quality Evaluation and Management, Hydrogeological Services, Hazard Mitigation and Emergency Planning, and Regulatory Coordination
The Water Resources Intern
Supports project teams to implement projects that serve the complex water resource needs of communities and state agencies
Has excellent oral and written communication skills
Demonstrates a willingness to learn and problem solve
Desires to work in an enthusiastic and energetic professional environment
Ensures completeness of project deliverables
Collaborates with project team members and partners for project success
Has opportunity to:
Contribute to real projects
Perform planning, design, and evaluation tasks
Develop project design plans
Learn skills in hydrologic and hydraulic analyses using a multitude of industry software platforms
Participate in project site visits
Qualified candidates are required to be actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, biological systems engineering, science, hydrology, natural resources, or other related field.
